About Us |
History The Aspire Group was founded as B&M Associates, Inc. in 1968 by Leonard R. McCormack (USMA) and John L. Bogosian. From its start in Boston’s defense corridor, the company became one of the area’s top talent providers to defense related industries in such areas as command and control, communications, electronics, weapon and space systems, electro-optical technology, systems engineering and software development. Throughout the ’80s, the company expanded westward and into the fast-growing aerospace segment, providing critical engineering resources to that decade’s top military programs. By the 1990s, the company was one of few to maintain its defense focus. The company was upgraded in its capability of supporting government programs and expanded its core competencies from the systems and electronics engineering that had marked its first two decades into the information technologies that were driving the future. In 2002, the company changed its name to The Aspire Group to better reflect its mission, commitment, and energy. Since its inception, The Aspire Group has maintained its original focus and expertise in providing engineering and information technology services to our clients, and today remains one of the only companies wholly dedicated to the talent needs of the defense community.
